It was one Sunday afternoon, while seeing a single yellow balloon attached to real estate sign (there were 3 but 2 were already deflated), that Aaron had spun the idea about the power of balloons. He thought, “If one balloon could direct potential home buyers into a “For Sale” home, image what many balloons could do.” This ONE balloon idea has yet taken off in becoming Balloon by Occasions (BBO). (We name our company with singular “Balloon” after that ONE yellow real estate balloon)
BBO’s core team consists of just two regular guy: Aaron & Jason. Creative artistry runs in their blood. BBO represents freedom to build ideas that would bring forth laughter and smiles to people and at the same time, won’t mortgage our lives or forfeit our firstborn. Balloon Decoration is able to bring us this freedom.
BBO’s territory covers most of North and Central Jersey. We’re just a phone call or Email away. Let us take you on the journey toward balloon art at its best: ONE balloon at a time!
Artist: Aaron
Even though Aaron studied electrical engineering and has worked in the IT industry for over a decade, his true passion is in the field of inserting gas molecules into latex & metalic foils (aka blowing them up) and turning them into wonderful pieces of art. As he continues researching for his thesis in “Why does balloons bring so much joy to people?”, he is frequently asked by balloon lovers to create wonderful pieces of theme art for their occasions. For Aaron, true happiness comes when people enjoys his art. Getting paid for them is just a bonus.
Aaron got started in 2006 when he planned on volunteering to teach English overseas to little children in China. He thought, “It would be wonderful idea if I could integrate simple balloon animals into my teaching.” Since then, Aaron has gone beyond just simple balloon animals.
Aaron is married and has a young daughter. His daughter is a true boontologist*.
*Boontologist: One who takes balloons of any form, attempts to squeeze, punch, kick & poke at the balloon and truly enjoys the process of doing it.
Artist: Jason
When not involved with BBO creating amazing balloon sculptures, he enjoys being active with his church group in Central Jersey. Some of his talents are artistically related; spending his free time clay sculpting and teaching/learning dance steps (swing and country line).
“I like working with my hands, because it allows me to express myself in a way that words cannot and lets me bring my imaginations to life. Sometimes there’s more to each of us that we care to let on…”
We’re here to help you make your event a success. Physical things will pass but memories will last a lifetime!
